This car was delivered new by Holley Dodge in Middleton , CT. They modified the truck with what they called a "Phase III" kit. it included: Two inch dropped suspensionR/T Performance package consisting of:R/T camshaft Chrome tubular exhaust headers. High performance 3" exhaust system. High performance engine module. Cold air intake package. Magnum valve covers. Vortech Supercharger. total horsepower output = 385hp. Since delivery, many other options were added. Four wheel viper disc brakes, Reflexxions all steel Ram induction hood with custom grill. Crane Cams Fireball HI-6 CD ignition with variable TRC-2 timing retard. 255/45 R18 Kuhmo Tires with HRE 645R Performance wheels (with matching spare. Airlift rear air shocks. As I understand it, this car was over $52,000 new in 2001. That does not include the additions since delivery. I estimate over $65,000 has been invested in the vehicle over its lifetime, but not by me. I bought it used!

2002 Camaro SS 35th Anniversary Edition. 345 HP SLP Modified LS1 engine, 6 speed. For the 2002 last production year, Chevy brought out a limited edition special appearance package of the fabled Z28 available in SS coupe or SS convertible. Only 3000 were produced for the U.S. market. The first and last of these were reserved for General Motors, and the next to last was auctioned for $71,500. Only 1,037 coupes were produced with the 6 speed manual transmission. For a price, Chevy would also send your car to SLP Engineering for a few more goodies. This particular car got the special SLP breathing treatment to the LS1, making 345 HP! There's no mistake when you are coming down the road - the roar of the Corvette derived LS1 V8 engine through a low-restriction dual exhaust makes sure of that. The Special Appearance package is painted a bright rally red with wide dual strips fading solid silver into a checkered flag graphic. The SS special package also comes with black 17 X 9 10-spoke, aluminum wheels with machined edges. These sporty wheels are wrapped around by Goodyear 245/40 Eagle F1 high-performance tires - and the brake calipers are anodized. Other distinguishing features of the Special Appearance package include a black accented hood scoop, a silver embossed Camaro name on the front grille and rear fascia and commemorative front fender emblems. Inside, the 35th Anniversary logo is embroidered onto the front headrests and a special trophy/rear shelf mat. Also included with this car is an ebony leather interior trim with medium gray leather inserts and a 35th anniversary badge on the dashboard. This car also sports a special 35th anniversary car cover.

Tom's 409 Chevy sat in a flood plain in Richmond, VA for 15 years before he found it through a friend. He gathered and restored parts for 16 years after purchasing the car. The car was restored with the help of many friends. Don Miller of Etland, VA did most of the body and engine work and painted it twice; first burgundy (original color) then Nassau Blue suggested by his daughter, Stacey Colon. Everyone agreed that Nassau Blue really looks great! The car has a black vinyl interior like the original and American Mag wheels. The car also has a 409 motor, 2 Carter AFB and a 4 speed. The 409 has been shown in Virginia, Florida and Georgia. As Tom says, 'she's real fine, my 409'.
